yes, we saw 9 (NINE) owlets tonight in downtown davis.
as we left the movie theater depressed from seeing SiCKO, we heard and saw three owlets on a tree. we walked back to the restaurant and found our four owlets in their tree next to their owl box. another owl flew by as we walked back to our car. then, we saw yet another barn owl fly into a tree and into another owl box.
we are wondering who placed the owl boxes in downtown davis? the davis raptor center?

Yeah, this is crazy talk. So cool that they will live in Davis! I think if we put up owl boxes in our yard they probably won't come live there though, huh?
Did you like SiCKO? Aside from being depressed? Do you want to move to France or what? Five weeks paid vacation. That's like some kind of fantasy dream where everyone lives happily ever after and gets 5 weeks vacation. If only the French language wasn't so peskily hard! I'd seriously consider a-movin out there....
